The film centers on a woman named Lauren (Erica Deutschman) and her best friend Colleen (Tianna Nori) believe they have scored their dream job — acting as “Christmas Coaches.”

What exactly is a Christmas Coach? Apparently, they are people who strive to give clients the most magical holiday ever.

Lauren and Colleen have a new client that needs to be treated like royalty because they are royalty. The Anderson family has just relocated from England, but the eldest son, James (Chad Connell) wants nothing to do with the holiday planning. He’s too busy negotiating a huge acquisition for his father’s company. However, Lauren isn’t going to let James’ Grinchy attitude stop her from her ultimate goal, to help the royal family embrace the Christmas spirit.

During “A Cheerful Christmas,” James and Lauren start to feel an attraction. However, there is a complication when Lauren’s old childhood friend shows up, giving her competition. It is teased that Lauren now has two big tasks: to win James’ heart and give the Anderson family the most magical Christmas ever.

Sneak Peek of ‘A Cheerful Christmas’

In the sneak peek clip, Lauren and Colleen appear to be in a commercial for their jolly services. It seems that their business does everything related to the holidays, including decorating, holiday-themed doormats, picking out ornaments and everything in between.

When Lauren and Colleen learn that their new clients are the Anderson family, they are beyond excited. They are next in line for the British throne, so this could not only boom business, but make them royal celebrities and guarantee the company’s success.

As mentioned before, James wants nothing to do with the planning and isn’t interested in a magical Christmas. Lauren has visions of a golden, glittery holiday scene in the home — done with the most class, obviously. However, she is thrown for a loop when James hands her a small piece of paper and tells her to just “stick to the list.”

It is teased that whatever Christmas traditions the family had, they left behind in England. Can Lauren perform a miracle by getting the Andersons, particularly James, to embrace the true spirit of the holiday?

Hallmark Channel’s ‘A Cheerful Christmas’ premieres on December 15 at 7 pm Central time.
