The first installment premiered in April 2015 and focused on a librarian by the name of Aurora Teagarden (Candace Cameron Bure). Aurora was known in her small town as an incredible sleuth. When a friend suddenly died and left Aurora everything, there was a mystery to solve.

In addition to “A Bone to Pick,” there are several other installments of Aurora Teagarden Mysteries that followed. “ Real Murders,” “Three Bedrooms, One Corpse,” “The Julius House,” “Dead Over Heels” and “A Bundle of Trouble” followed the first installment.
Then there was “Last Scene Alive,” “Reap What You Sew,” “The Disappearing Game,” “A Game of Cat and Mouse” and “An Inheritance to Die For.” In 2019, fans saw “A Very Foul Play” and in 2020, “Heist and Seek” premiered.
“Reunited and It Feels So Deadly,” “How to Con a Con,” “Til Death Do Us Part” and “Honeymoon, Honeymurder” aired afterward. On February 20, 2022, viewers were treated to “Haunted by Murder.”
Hallmark Channel News – Cancelled Mystery Series
In early February 2022, we reported that three popular mystery series were canceled. Those included ““Picture Perfect Mysteries,” Hailey Dean Mystery” and “Matchmaker Mysteries” were shelved.
The network finally released a brief statement on “Picture Perfect Mysteries,” which didn’t give an explanation. It only confirmed that there were no more installments of the mystery series in development.
