According to the official website for Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, the brief description is as follows,

“Photographer Allie (Alexa PenaVega) and Detective Sam’s (Carlos PenaVega) investigation into a priceless stolen necklace leads to danger and an unexpected death.”

Erik Estrada will be portraying the role of Luis and the movie premieres on February 16.

The preview clip doesn’t reveal much except that there is a murder and a theft. The narrator teases that in order to solve a crime, you must have a badge and a little focus. In one scene, Sam tells Allie that curiosity killed the cat. She responds by saying satisfaction brought it back.

Even though the preview doesn’t give away too much information, the photos on the Hallmark Channel’s website are a bit more revealing.

Hallmark Channel News: Pictures Tell a Story

An older man wearing a tuxedo and bowtie is on the floor and looks like he is in agony. Several men are around him, some trying to comfort him, others holding him as he falls and then there is one with a walkie talkie. Allie looks stunned and horrified all at the same time.

There are a lot of pictures of Sam doing detective work at the Willow Haven Police Department. Plus, something is missing from a glass class. We are guessing the item that is taken is a rare diamond or perhaps several of them from the movie title.

We also see Allie snooping and sleuthing around with her camera. Hopefully, she is careful not to get seen by the wrong people!
