Why Did Paevey Leave General Hospital?
In a recent interview with Soap Opera Digest, Paevey opened up why he left “General Hospital.” The actor was with the sudser for four years and it’s been a memorable ride for him.
He recalled that he was a novice at everything when he started on “General Hospital.” It was his first acting gig and he was extremely excited to land the job. He felt lucky for being given a character to play that’s likable and nice.
He shared that it was easy for him to return to being a bartender and a server at a sushi restaurant in case the show made his alter ego a jerk. Fortunately, his character was loved by many fans and they all rooted for him with he was paired with Maxi Jones, portrayed by Kirsten Storms. So, when his character was killed off, everyone was devastated. But his exit wasn’t at all ordinary. His departure was made special in a way that both the cast and the fans had the chance to mourn the loss.
“Nathan got a serious send-off. I’m blown away by the level of canvas mobilization that I observed in my exit.” Paevey said.

He’s One Lucky Guy
He said he got lucky when he became part of “General Hospital” and got lucky once again with Hallmark.
To have been welcomed into a family that promises they will take care of you is great,” Paevey said.
