Catherine took to Instagram, first of all quoting Dr. Seuss, by aptly saying “Don’t cry because it’s over. Smile because it happened!” Bell went on to write how grateful she is for seven seasons and 13 years (of movies) of being part of Good Witch. She noted that she was working with the “KINDEST and most talented cast & crew, producers, network.” Catherine said it always felt like family to her.

Catherine’s co-star, James Denton made a statement about the cancelation. He said it would be “unseemly to complain about your show being canceled after seven seasons, and I won’t.” James said how fortunate he has been on other long-running series, but that Good Witch was “special.”

I always love to watch the good witch. It always kept you interested with something new all the time I hate to see it canceled. It is one of the few programs that doesn’t have silliness and sex all the time on it.
