Hallmark Channel News – Will There Be A Good Witch movie After The Series Finale?

Heavy asked the Hallmark Channel is there was any chance of another Good Witch movie following the end of the series. According to a representative of the network, they don’t currently have plans to film a movie. However, the idea isn’t totally off the table and there are, apparently, discussions going on.

The rep said while there are no immediate plans for a Good Witch movie, Catherine Bell, James Denton and Katherine Barrell and others are all members of the Hallmark Channel family. The representative said they are definitely in discussions over future projects with those actors.

Basically, fans shouldn’t completely give up on the idea of a future for Good Witch. There does still seem to be a chance that something would be produced in future.

Hallmark Channel NewsCatherine Bell And James Denton On Facebook Live

Meanwhile, Catherine and James shared some happy memories with fans in a recent Facebook Live video. Hallmark had posed a number of questions for them to respond to in the video.

Speaking of the relationship between Sam and Cassie, they were asked their favorite storyline between the pair. Catherine said her favorite scenes related to the time when they unusually had some problems in their relationship. While this was unusual, she believes this was realistic.

James agreed with Catherine, saying his two favorite storylines were when they had the conflict during this season, but also in season 1. He said this was “far and away” the best storyline they had, because it was “very honest.”

When Denton was asked what he enjoyed acting the most in the series, he said he liked the early days when his character was getting used to Middleton. He said, “Being the sort of fish out of water from a big city,” adding, “The idea that I came to a small town and just trying to fit in. The very beginning when I was opening my office. That sort of fitting into Middleton was always fun for me.”

Meanwhile, Bell said she enjoyed the storylines that related to merging their families. Saying this was a big one, she said, “We started taking care of each other’s kids. You’d give Grace driving lessons and I was helping Nick.”

Watch Catherine and James answer all the questions in the Facebook Live video included here.

As if readers need a reminder, the Good Witch series finale will air on the Hallmark Channel on Sunday, July 25 at 9 pm ET.

Finally a nice family show, even if it was fantasy, now cancelled. Sad day for all the fans that loved The Good Witch. Bring it back!!!!!

I think the show has been terrible since 2020. No more small town atmosphere at all ……the writers should all be fired. Why do they always ruin a good show, and add characters that change the whole idea of the show. Hated this year and I’ve watched it since day one . I’ll watch reruns of MAYBERRY.

Did not care for the show by the end of last season. While I DVR'd this season,
I knew Abigail & Donovan permanently broke up; they worked way too hard at staying together, at what point does on ask, just what Donovan asked? What are we doing? I knew Adam & Stephanie got married after I read a recap of the show. I found those parts, saw they got married, I question why anyone would get married on a boat wouldhappen if one of the people who was getting married had major motion sickness
issues. I will miss Martha & Tom. For as silly as she can be, loved Catherine Disher's acting & I LOVED watching them in their marriage, totally devoted to each other, so endearing. Watched the wedding, saw the ending & with that, I deleted the entire season of shows without watching any of the episodes. LOVED this show when they were movies, then it became the series, it was still good … until last year. Not sure why any movies would re-start, no point to it, imo, if the series was cancelled, why would they bring out more movies? But if they do, I most likely won't watch.

I missed Grace being in the show. Too many loose ends with the finale…so I hope they have a follow up movie and I hope Donovan goes to Tuscany and marries Abigail…as they fought too hard to be together to be apart now. Abigail deserves to be happy too.
