When Hope Calls is a spinoff series of When Calls the Heart and premiered back in 2019. Because of the hit that it was, many fans thought that it would be back quicker than it was. We all know how COVID affected shows and that could have been one of the reasons, so we went on for two years just wanting more and more of this show. Just when we thought things looked bleak, we have some great news about the new season.

Things started to look up for fans of the show when one fan was chatting with the show’s creator on social media. Brian Bird was asked about another season, but all he could say was, “Stay tuned for news. We’re working on a plan.” This gave us all a little hope.

Of course, fans of the show are obsessing about this message from Bird and they have started to do a little digging on when the show will be back. In the newest issue of Publisher’s Weekly, there have been some hints about a Christmas special of the show. The production started in September, but there are also hints that the second season will be out soon too.

There was one fan that noticed some filming dates for the new season in the magazine going from September 28 through October 25. Many fans think that this wouldn’t be quite long enough to film ten episodes though. What are we to do?!

As of right now, we do not know the exact release of the Christmas special or the second season, but there is a lot of hope in sight for us! We hope to hear more from Hallmark soon and hope that they announce the Countdown to Christmas lineup very soon.
