Hallmark Fall Harvest: Meet Lauren Alaina In Roadhouse Romance

Hallmark brings the Fall Harvest movies and this year they feature Lauren Alaina Suddeth in her own movie, Roadhouse Romance. Well, unless you are a music fan or watched American Idol, Season 10, you might not know much about her. Of course, those fans who love watching ABC’s Dancing With the Stars might also recognize her name. What else is there to know about her? Read on to find out.

This Fall, Roadhouse Romance premieres on September 11. Of course, other movies come along for fans, and they’ll also see the likes of Nikki Deloach act in Taking The Reins. Of course, fans know Nikki from movies like Christmas Land, A Dream of Christmas,  and Reunited at Christmas. Well, Lauren Alaina doesn’t bring the same amount of acting experience to the channel. However, she previously filmed The Road Less Traveled back in 2016.

In her new Hallmark movie, she plays the role of Lt. Callie Jackson who just got back from a military tour. However, things change in her hometown and she discovers that her high school sweetheart moved on from her. Plus, the family business is really struggling. Hallmark reported the synopsis as follows: “Country music fan Callie is determined to continue her late grandfather’s legacy. While TV director Luke is in town, he teaches her that sometimes it’s best to look forward instead of back.”

Alaina was born in Rossville, Georgia in 1994. In love with music, she started singing at the age of three. She loved doing karaoke, sang for a kid’s choir, and in the church.  Before the age of ten, she successfully competed in a variety of talent shows. Then, by the age of 12, she became known for her appearances in Nashville at bars like Tootsies.  In 2010, The Chattanooga Times reported that her talent surprised judges at the WinniSTAR youth talent contest at Lake Winnepesaukah amusement park.

Later, the new Hallmark star started composing her own songs like  “Leaving” and “Set Me Free.” Still, it took her time to work her way up in the music world. Before she tried out for American Idol she worked at a Pizza place. Actually, she felt inspired to try out for the show and live her dreams when her cousin, Holly Witherow suffered from a brain tumor. Certainly, her talent rocked the judges and the audience as she came in as runner-up. IMDb reminds fans that the winner of season 10 was  Scotty McCreery.

Hallmark Fall Harvest – Music Rolls Out

After signing some recoding contracts, Lauren Alaina did very well. In fact, her debut album Wildflower made it to Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart and became the best-selling digital album by a debut country female.  Well, it seems that she never looked back and keeps her new music keeps coming out all the time.
