For fans who enjoy binge-watching Hallmark Channel movies on Peacock, unfortunately, this is coming to an end. After three years of watching these heartwarming, rom-com flicks (whether they be holiday ones or otherwise) a day after they aired on Hallmark, fans will no longer be about to do this.
The Agreement Ends In Mere Days
According to TVLine, as of May 1, Hallmark and Peacock’s content-sharing deal ends, and live feeds will be taken away, too. This may be sad news for some; however, there is a silver lining in the fact that these movies will now be found on another streaming service, Hallmark+.
The move makes sense, as this is the official streaming platform of Crown Media, so it’s only natural that moving forward, Hallmark Channel’s movies and original series (like When Calls the Heart (WCTH), The Way Home, and Chesapeake Shores), will be available on Hallmark+ one day after they air on the mothership network.
What Fans Can Do Next
In 2022, Hallmark movies began streaming on Peacock, which seemed like the perfect partnership at the time. Still, now that the channel has a streaming platform of its own in Hallmark+, it only seems right for the network to move all its content there.
Fans can purchase a subscription to Hallmark+, and as of this writing, the cost is $79.99 for a yearly membership or $7.99 per month. In addition, subscriptions come with incentives like a $5 monthly Gold Crown coupon, a free custom greeting card each month, and unlimited eCards. It’s important to note that Hallmark has renewed five television series so far this year.
Hallmark+ debuted in September 2024, and by November of that year, the network stated the hit series, The Way Home, would be airing its newest season on the streaming platform, exclusively. The plan was that it would eventually air on the Hallmark Channel months later.
Still, fans protested this, and the network reversed the decision, moving The Way Home’s Season 3 back to the Channel when the show premiered in January of this year. The series was recently renewed for Season 4.

I will probably drop Peacock, and won’t add new tv subscriptions. Tv is a luxury I can no longer afford 🙁
