Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Channel introduces brand new installments to the network’s fan-favorite mystery series. Lacey Chabert and Brennan Elliott recently hosted the Crossword Mysteries & Friends Preview Special.

‘Matchmaker Mysteries: A Killer Engagement’: Sunday, October 6 – 9 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT

Hallmark Movies & Mysteries newest movie series, based on ‘Millionaire Matchmaker’ Patti Stanger, who served as executive producer, we meet Angie Duff (Danica McKeller) a successful Philadelphia-based reality show matchmaker who helps people find their soulmate. Real-life matchmaker Patti Stanger “Millionaire Matchmaker” serves as executive producer.

The daughter of former polite detective Nick Columbo (Bruce Boxleitner), Angie is naturally observant, and an expert at reading body language. Detective Kyle Cooper (Victor Webster) is none too pleased that Angie is investigating the crime of passion, determined to prove a murdered woman’s fiancé, Angie’s client, is an innocent man.

‘Crossword Mysteries: Proposing Murder’: Sunday, October 13 – 9:00 p.m. ET/8:00 p.m. CT

Tess Harper has a remarkable mind for solving puzzles, deciphering codes, and noticing small irregularities that can crack a tough case wide open. Once again Detective Logan O’Connor (Brennan Elliott) needs Tess’s help solving an intriguing case involving a complicated coded message and an engagement ring.

Detective Logan is a dedicated seeker of truth who grudgingly partners with Tess to investigate difficult cases. The crossword puzzle editor always seems to be one step of the handsome detective.

‘Crossword Mysteries Abracadaver’: Sunday, October 20 – 9:00 p.m. ET/8:00 p.m. CT

A magician dies while attempting a very dangerous trick in front of a live audience. Tess happened to be on stage at the time.

Logan needs Tess’s keen skills of observation to help solve the crime. Tess describes some odd behavior, but nothing that seems to be of help in the investigation.

Stumped by what appears to be a lack of evidence, Tess turns to Aunt Candace, a well-known therapist, for help. Candace advises Tess not to get involved in this murder mystery, it’s could be more dangerous than any other murder Tess has helped solve.
