Mean Girls – Stars Stage Reunion!
Nearly 20 years have passed since the release of the beloved classic comedy Mean Girls. And now fans hope to see something exciting from three of the stars. Hallmark star Lacey Chabert reunited with her Mean Girls costars Lindsay Lohan, and Amanda Seyfried for what People reported involved a “special secret commercial project.”
And the reunion took place in Los Angeles, California. Lindsay, Amanda, and Lacey huddled with camera crews on a football field to work on their secret project. And all three looked delighted to reunite.
And Seyfried, 37, and Chabert, 41, even looked as if they had planned ahead of time to coordinate. Both actresses donned pink outfits for the occasion. And a silver convertible resembling the “Get in loser – we’re going shopping” scene from the film also seemed involved in the project.

Mean Girls – Revisited
For those trying to remember which actress played what role in the 2004 film, Lohan, 37, took on the role of Cady Heron. A high school outcast, Cady had just arrived from Africa. And she receives lessons in high school hierarchies when she meets Karen Smith (Seyfried), Gretchen Wieners (Chabert), and their queen bee leader Regina George (Rachel McAdams), known as The Plastics.
However, although Rachel once mused that she would enjoy portraying Regina now, the 44-year-old actress did not join her Mean Girls costars for the project. The gathering of stars reportedly involved a commercial with a Mean Girls theme.
One part of the project involved Seyfried grasping a microphone and sporting a blazer. The scene recalled her Mean Girls role where her school weather report included the announcement of “a 30 percent chance it’s already raining.” And Lohan wore an all-black outfit, holding onto a pouch that said “Plastics Club Member.”

Mean Girls- Musical Movie Details
Next year, the Mean Girls film will celebrate two decades with the premiere of the Mean Girls Musical Movie. Tina Fey penned the Broadway musical and film and revealed the musical previously. Fey will return to her role with Tim Meadows, who portrays Principal Duvall. And Seyfried shared that all of her co-stars feel enthusiastic about appearing in cameos.
But while fans hope to see the original cast all appear in cameos, the main cast has already been announced. Senior Year actress Angourie Rice will portray Cady Heron. And Sex Lives of College Girls star Renée Rapp will repeat her Broadway role as Regina George. Auli’i Cravalho will play Janis, and Jaquel Spivey will portray Damian. Avantika and Bebe Wood will portray Karen and Gretchen. And The Summer I Turned Pretty actor Christopher Briney will portray Aaron Samuels.
