Hallmark’ Channel Spoilers – A Godwink Christmas – Miracle Of Love Star Alberto Frezza
The new, original holiday movie A Godwink Christmas: Miracle of Love premiered on Saturday, December 11. Fans no doubt enjoyed the heartwarming movie, but it turns out there was more behind the scenes. Alberto Frezza, who played the role of Eric, had a cancer diagnosis last year. In fact, he went through four rounds of chemo in 2020.
Alberto took to Instagram in February to let his fans know he had already undergone his second round of chemo in August last year. The image reveals Frezza, lying in a hospital bed while reading The Godfather.
In his caption, he wrote, “This picture was taken by my mother during my second cycle of chemo sometime in August. I love this picture because it shows how fragile life is, but also how you can find comfort in the things that you love during those trying times. The Godfather ! Wonderful gift by my friend @mollyjmccook . Link in bio to donate for cancer research #roaragainstcancer #cancerresearch”
Hallmark’ Channel Spoilers – Second Post About Alberto’s Chemo
In September this year, Frezza shared another post to his Instagram, revealing that he had gone completely bald from the chemo and that he is now one-year cancer-free.
Alberto captioned the image, “Death? I’ve come to embrace it. When you’re faced with your mortality, what happens? Rebirth. Some parts of you die, others are born. Life is a gift. An unfair one. Do good while you can and create something that outlives you……… (1 year cancer free) #roaragainstcancer link in bio to donate for cancer research. #throwback.”

In both posts, Alberto encouraged his followers to donate to cancer research in the hope that none of them go through what he has been through. His Gofundme page has so far attracted donations of $40,295 of his $100,000 goal.
On his fundraising page, Alberto explained that he was diagnosed with cancer in June 2020, which turned his life upside down. He luckily knows Professor Filippo De Braud, the head of the National Tumor Institute of Milan, who told him to travel to that city for his treatment.
He then underwent four cycles of chemotherapy, which worked very well and he ended up cancer-free, shortly before he filmed A Godwink Christmas: Miracle of Love. He does, however, still have regular checkups.
Frezza also explained that it was seeing a seven-year-old child undergoing chemo is partly what inspired him to start the fundraising campaign.
We wish Alberto Frezza the best of good health going forward. Readers, did you watch A Godwink Christmas: Miracle of Love? Let us know how much you enjoyed it by leaving a comment below.
