The news comes a little early, but Hallmark Channel is celebrating the 15th anniversary of its beloved Countdown to Christmas and they are speeding up with the latest announcement while getting fans already excited

On Wednesday, TV Line announced that Hallmark had paired up Lacey Chabert and Polaha in a new adventure-romance titled The Christmas Quest. What makes it even more magical is that they recently filmed on location in beautiful Iceland.

A brief look into the plot reveals that Lacey plays an archeologist and Kris plays her former husband, an Old Norse language expert. The couple are reunited and sent to Iceland in the holidays to search for a legendary treasure.

Meanwhile, they are not the only people searching for the treasure. When others join in their hunt, the couple is swept into a thrilling adventure, while racing to keep the treasure from falling into the wrong hands.

So far, Hallmark has not revealed a premiere date for The Christmas Quest, but it will likely air around Thanksgiving weekend. Meanwhile, this is based on the last holidays’ schedule, where Lacey’s A Merry Scottish Christmas and Kristoffer’s A Biltmore Christmas aired over Thanksgiving weekend. However, that is obviously not set in stone but no doubt, Hallmark will let us all know, probably sometime in September.
