Lori Loughlin played the role of Abigail Stanton in When Calls the Heart (WCTH) and Hallmark fans adored her. After all, in Season 1 Episode  1, she really was the only friendly face that Elizabeth (Erin Krakow) set eyes on. Fired after she was implicated in the college admissions scandal in 2019, loyal Hearties really want her back. Well,  following a new ruling by a judge, the possibility that she returned becomes very likely.

Hallmark fans heard about Lori Louhglin’s arrest for hauling out a good deal of moolah for her kids to get on the rowing team at the University of Southern California. And, fury erupted! After all, she was “good.” She was butter won’t melt in her mouth, Abigail! Which all goes to show how well she acted in her role in the Hallmark show. Feeling betrayed, fans trolled and trashed her. However, perceptions started changing after she served her time. Additionally, her friend, Erin Krakow forgave her and stuck by her.

Many Lori Loughlin fans felt that When Calls the Heart was about second chances, forgiveness, and community spirit. So, they started pleading for her return. Whenever Erin shared a photo of her friend, fans hoped that she hinted at a return. In fact, just a few days ago, Erin shared a throwback photo of them from Season 1. She captioned it with, “8 years ago today! A beautiful memory from the very first scene we shot of WCTH Season 1, with my forever friend. Thank you #erinkrakowloriloughlinfan from Instagram for the photo and reminder.”

When Calls The Heart – Judge Rules That Lori Loughlin Can Travel To Canada

Mercury News reported on September 14, that a judge ruled in favor of her leaving the USA for Canada. While she returns to continue her “career,” When Calls the Heart was not specifically mentioned. Nevertheless, WCTH fans can start hoping in all seriousness that it happens. After all, Brian Bird told ET Canada, “I truly, truly hope so. It would make me so happy to see Abigail back in Hope Valley. And I think there are still a lot of really beautiful stories for her character to get to tell. I would welcome her back with open arms. So let’s hope.”

For hopeful Hearties, Lori Loughlin returning would no doubt bring tears of joy. Even though she is still on probation, it’s actually something of a miracle that the judge cleared her. Mind you, it’s not clear what Canadian authorities feel about it. Nevertheless, she could be in Canada in about one week’s time. It seems obvious to When Calls the Heart fans that she returns to the set. After all, they currently film there. Additionally, her cafe is still open and Abigail only left to tend to her ailing mom. That leaves a door open for her potential return.

When Calls The Heart – Notification Of A Return To The Hallmark Show

So far, no official announcement arrives that Lori Loughlin returns to the show. In fact, Brian Bird’s Twitter is dead silent for now. Additionally, neither Lori nor Erin Krakow said anything on their Instagram accounts. So, Hearties still need to cross their fingers and hope like crazy.
