Hallmark’s Fall Harvest officially kicked off last weekend with a selection of great romantic movies. However, the newest of the bunch is Raise a Glass to Love, which premieres on Saturday, September 18. The movie stars Laura Osnes and Juan Pablo Di Pace and is set among the stunning scenery of a vineyard.
The movie follows Jenna (Laura Osnes) who has a dream to become a Master Sommelier, or certified wine expert. She struggles along the way to pass the difficult exam, while also having an unsupportive boyfriend.

With all these problems, when Jenna’s father tells her he needs help on the family vineyard, she jumps at the chance. While working there she meets the handsome Argentinean winemaker Marcelo (Juan Pablo Di Pace). Marcelo’s natural methods have Jenna looking at winemaking, vineyards and even her own life a different way. Just when it’s time for Jenna to take her exam, Marcelo is offered a job halfway across the world. Will they be able to make something of their relationship?

Laura Osnes is a renowned Broadway theater actress who has branched out into TV films, including the 2020 Hallmark movie One Royal Holiday. Meanwhile, Juan Pablo Di Pace is known for his role on the Netflix show Fuller House. Before that role, he appeared in season 3 of the TNT reboot of Dallas. In 2018, Juan starred on Dancing with the Stars and took fifth place with his professional partner Cheryl Burke. Jennifer Huether, a renowned master sommelier, also appears as herself in the movie.

Hallmark Channel – Where Was Raise A Glass To  Love Filmed?

The stunning scenery in Raise a Glass to Love is in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. Filming took place in Okanagan Valley, close to the lake of the same name. The area consists of forests, mountains, parks and, of course, vineyards, making it the perfect setting for the romantic Hallmark movie. Her co-star Juan has also been busy on Instagram, where he posted an “on location” video, giving behind the scenes glimpses into the movie and its setting. It is easy to see that both cast members thoroughly enjoyed working together.
