Alison Sweeney is renowned for the Hannah Swensen mystery movies, but now Victor Webster, her partner from the Wedding Veil movies, joins the cast. Both popular actors will star together in One Bad Apple: A Hannah Swensen Mystery, coming to Hallmark Mystery.

Meanwhile, Barbara Niven, Tess Atkins, Gabriel Hogan and Lisa Durupt reprise their roles. The script was written by Sweeney and is based on the novel Apple Turnover Murder by Joanne Fluke. Read on to find out more about the new mystery movie and its cast and watch a trailer.

One Bad Apple: A Hannah Swensen Mystery on Hallmark Mystery

According to the official synopsis, Hannah Swensen (Sweeney) has been asked to teach a baking class at the town’s college. However, someone tampered with her equipment, causing an explosion that the fire department ruled an accident.

However, soon afterward, a colleague turns up dead and Hannah starts to put together the puzzle of the mysterious circumstances surrounding the murder while being on the suspect list herself.

Meanwhile, Hannah leans on her friends and family to collect the breadcrumbs of foul play and put them together. Along the way, she meets a different side of law and order when crossing paths with Lake Eden’s by-the-book prosecuting attorney, Chad Norton (Webster).

Where have you seen the cast before?

Allison Sweeney, who wrote the script, stars in and executive produces the movie, is known for her many Hallmark movies and also from her time in Days of Our Lives. Meanwhile, Victor Webster is known for his extensive work with Hallmark, including the Wedding Veil movie series.

Meanwhile, Barbara Niven, who plays Delores in the movie, is known for previous Hannah Swensen movies and Ms. Christmas Comes to Town. Tess Atkins, who plays Michelle, also reprises her role and also starred in The Flash.

Lisa Durupt also reprises her role as Andrea and has previously been seen in Heartland. Gabriel Hogan plays the role of Norman and has previously starred in Heartland and Condor.

One Bad Apple hails from Lighthouse Pictures in association with Looking Glass Productions. Meanwhile, Sweeney, Craig Baumgarten, Jamie Goehring and Shawn Williamson serve as executive producers. John J. Fluke is a co-executive producer, while the movie is produced by Kevin Leslie, and B.F. Painter serves as associate producer. The movie is directed by Shannon Kohli from a script penned by Sweeney, based on the novel Apple Turnover Murder by Joanne Fluke.
