When Calls the Heart Season 9 got a renewal by Hallmark and fans saw a few WCTH spoilers about the new season. One speculation that came for the new season is that Lori Loughlin might return. Recall, after the college admissions scandal, she left the show, but there’s an opening there for her return. Now that Erin hinted she sets off to start filming the show, some fans really hope that she picks up Lori who played the role of Abigail.

News that the show would start filming towards the end of July came earlier this month. At the beginning of July, Brian Bird tweeted out about how July is a big month. After all, Canadians celebrated Canada Day. Plus, the 4th of July came for the USA. However, he also talked about July 21, saying, “Season 9 Begins Day.” Well, it’s not July 21 yet, but it could take Erin Krakow some time to get to the film set. She posted about her road trip on July  12, and using her icons, suggested that she’s on her way.

Erin Krakow was rather quiet on Instagram in recent months. Last week, she posted up birthday greetings to When Calls the Heart star, Loretta Walsh, (Florence). And, that might tie into the speculation about Lori Loughlin returning. You might recall in Season 8 when Ned talked with Gowan about marrying Florence, Gowan talked about how much he misses Abigail. She left town in the show but never died, so Deseret News reported fans speculated that might hint at Lori’s return as Abigail.

The post that Erin shared this week revealed a shorter hairstyle that fans liked a  lot. However, they also liked her caption that hinted she’s on her way to start filming. It read, “#PlainSelfieNotAPlaneSelfie 😏
See you soon Hope Valley! 🚘” One follower commented, “Wow a road trip 🚘 (1277,3 miles / 20 hours drive) drive carefully @erinkrakow be safe, I can’t wait to see you back in Hope Valley 🥰.”

In the comments, fans also talked about When Calls the Heart alum, Lori Loughlin. It’s no big surprise that the discussion arose. After all, Even Erin publically came out and said that she hopes her friend might return. In fact, she felt that forgiveness is a good thing in life. Plus, it’s an admirable and wholesome aspect of the show. While many people condemned Lori, many Hearties forgave her and they really miss Abigail as well.
