When Calls the Heart (WCTH) fans always feel sad when the Hallmark show loses a character. Erin Krakow, (Elizabeth Thornton) lost her man, Jack Thornton, (Daniel Lissing) at the end of Season 5. Well, some fans took ages to get over his death in the show and some of them went for therapy. Others mourned the loss of Lori Loughlin, (Abigail Stanton) when she was fired. Well, the WCTH TV family members just lost someone who didn’t act in the show. Erin sorrowfully shared the news this week.

They miss her and last heard that Abigail left town in a hurry to attend to her ailing mom. At the time, she was the mayor in town. However, her cafe still exists, so fans hoped that means that one day the showrunners might bring her back. Often fans scour Erin’s Instrgam for any hint that she might return. Well, a recent spoiler suggests that her return might happen as a judge allows her to travel to Canada to continue her career.

When Calls the Heart fans know that Erin Krakow really misses her friend Lori. In fact, she was one of the first to stand up and remain her friend after the college admissions scandal. However, with Daniel Lissing a hoped-for return never happened. So, there’s some heartache amongst Hearties about Abigail and Jack. Now, fans probably won’t feel as sad to hear that someone in the WCTH TV family died. Nevertheless, Erin’s sad, so her fans reacted to that.

When Calls the Heart News – TV-Family Member Passes Away

Erin Krakow took to her Instagram on Wednesday, September 15. She posted up a photo of the TV-family colleague that they lost. In her caption, she said, “Sad news today. We lost another cherished member of the @wcth_tv family, Jo Kinchella. Jo was a friend to all and a very talented makeup artist. She was soulful and silly and cared deeply for her family and film-family.”

The When Calls the Heart star also mentioned that she and Pascale Sutton, (Rosemary) visited with Jo before she passed away. She wrote, “[we] had the opportunity to visit with Jo in her final days. Even then, she was making us laugh and reminiscing about the good old days.” Finally, she noted, “Hold your loved ones close. Tell them you love them. 🌻”

Fans reacted to the post by Erin Krakow. Plus, Pascale replied, saying, “So grateful for our times with her. She will always be a part of the WCTH family❤️.” Then a fan of the show noted, “I’m so sorry Erin. Thinking of the WCTH family and Jo today. ❤️❤️❤️.”
