When Calls The Heart – Mei’ Suo’s Husband Arrives In Hope Valley

Many Hope Valley locals were shocked when they learned that Mei has a husband. Faith Carter (Andrea Brooks) has been asking a lot of questions about Mei’s past but the latter always refuses and evades answering them.

Geoffrey Lewis (Chris Cope), who claims to be Mei’s husband, arrived in town and revealed that he has filed a case against his wife for larceny, forgery, and spousal abandonment. As expected, Nathan got upset over the shocking revelation.

He decided to confront her about Geoffrey and she explained that the latter has been obsessed with her since she became his apprentice during her medical school days. Geoffrey proposed to her but she rejected his advances.

However, Geoffrey told everyone that they got engaged and even created a fake married license to convince others that they tied the knot. Mei explained that she decided to move out of Chicago and start a new life in Hope Valley.

Even if Nathan managed to uncover that their marriage is fake, Geoffrey continued his legal cases against Mei Sou. When a Chicago court summoned her for a hearing, Mei had no choice but to return to Chicago. Nathan feels dejected when he learns that Mei had to leave but the pair managed to part ways on good terms.
