When Calls The Heart spoilers and updates tease that the show is scheduled to go on air this Sunday, March 6 on Hallmark Channel. In the latest teaser, Lucas Bouchard (Kevin McGarry) and Nathan Grant (Chris McNally) will once again compete for Elizabeth’s attention.

In the finale of season 8, it was revealed that Lucas was the one who captured the heart of Elizabeth. Lucas fans rejoiced while Nathan fans were disappointed. But viewers will surely enjoy the upcoming season since they’ll see both men compete once again.

This time, the competition won’t be for Elizabeth’s heart. Lucas and Nathan will race each other to the finish line. Lucas will be riding his motorbike while Nathan will be on horseback.

In the preview, Lucas asks Elizabeth if she’ll be rooting for him in this race. Who will win the race? Not only that, but fans will also get to see Lucas develop a closer relationship with Elizabeth’s son Jack (Hyland Goodrich).

“[Jack] and Lucas start to bond in a really terrific way,” McNally teased.

When Calls The Heart – What To Expect From WCTH Premiere Episode

The first episode is titled In Like a Lion. Spoilers hint that Elizabeth just returned home after a short visit to her family in Hamilton. She reunites with Lucas and they start their courtship. Lucas will also talk to an investor regarding his oil business. Meanwhile, the other residents will be busy with the preparation for the upcoming mayoral election and the new foundry construction.

Meanwhile, the second episode, titled Out Like A Lamb, will feature the ongoing mayoral election. The citizens will cast their ballots and a recount will be required before the winner is announced because it’ll be a close fight. Newcomer Mei Suo (Amanda Wong) will then be introduced and will have a run-in with Nathan.

Pascale Hutton told Hallmark Channel that “love is in the air” in the upcoming season.

“There’s new love, there’s young love, there’s newlywed love, there’s mature love. Love. Love is what is happening. That is the storyline for this season,” she continued.
