Elizabeth’s Love Triangle

WCTH season 8 spoilers reveal that the extended promo for episode 2 was uploaded to YouTube. The episode is titled “Honestly, Elizabeth” and it confirms Helen knows about the love triangle. It doesn’t sit well with her and she probably assumes Elizabeth is just leading Lucas on. Of course, fans know that isn’t true. But Helen doesn’t know Elizabeth and comes to the worst possible explanation. Instead of discussing her concerns with Elizabeth, she turns into a bully.

WCTH Season 8 Spoilers:- Helen Bouchard A Bully

In the extended promo for “Honestly, Elizabeth,” Helen will forcefully walk toward Elizabeth in a very intimidating way. She barks at the schoolteacher for taking too long with her manuscript. Elizabeth explains that she works as a schoolteacher and made time for things other than writing. Helen goes on to scold Elizabeth and call her undisciplined. Then she blasts the teacher for wasting her time. Obviously, Helen’s issue isn’t really the manuscript or Elizabeth taking too long to write. It’s the love triangle that’s bothering her, but won’t say it.

When Calls the Heart season 8 spoilers reveal that Elizabeth talks to Lucas about his mother. He doesn’t tell his mother to ease up, find out what the real problem is, or defend Elizabeth to Helen. Instead, he is pretty dismissive about it and plays it off like it’s no big deal. However, it is a big deal to Elizabeth, as it should be.

When Calls The Heart Season 8 Spoilers – Conflict Resolution

We know that Helen’s bullying doesn’t scare Elizabeth away. She could take the easy way out and eliminate the monster-in-law by picking Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry). However, she doesn’t do that. The love triangle isn’t about what’s easy, it’s about making sure she chooses the right man. It’s not just her that will be affected. Her young son will also be impacted by whatever choice she makes.

At some point, Elizabeth will stand up to Helen. Once she realizes what the real problem is, then Elizabeth can explain or come up with a solution. However, it seems that Helen doesn’t limit herself to just bullying Elizabeth. She seems to have an opinion about everyone and everything, including her son’s business decisions. How will he end up handling his mother and her bad behavior? We will have to keep watching the Hallmark Channel TV show to find out.
