WCTH season 9 spoilers reveal that during the season finale, we finally got to see which man Elizabeth chose to be with. It looked like she was going to pick Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry). Then, Lucas told Elizabeth that he was letting her go. She was devastated and heartbroken, but it did force her to finally make a choice. By the time she got around to telling Lucas, she was told that he left Hope Valley. She ran to try and catch him. Then, once she got to the bridge — the same area where the two shared their near-kiss in the rain — Lucas showed up. She made her choice and it was Lucas.

When Calls The Heart Season 9 Spoilers –  Renewal Confirmed

At the end of the season 8 finale, viewers were given the gift of a renewal announcement. Even though season 9 was predicted by many fans, we thought the Hallmark Channel was going to make us wait. After all, last year the network made its renewal announcements quite late. So, to get the payoff of the love triangle ending plus a renewal announcement were both special treats.

As for our wishes, we agree that seeing Lucas and Elizabeth have a romantic courtship would be nice. We definitely think that should play out before the two get married. We are also looking forward to seeing what happens with Nathan now. Who will the writers pair him up with now that Elizabeth is spoken for? We know that McGarry isn’t going anywhere. It was previously confirmed that no matter who Elizabeth chose, both Lucas and Nathan would remain a part of Hope Valley. What would you like to see happen next for the characters of WCTH?
