“I think one of the things that’s really interesting about this coming season is really the advent of industrialization. That’s really interesting because that really would have happened in 1919… I was really excited about that, about the fact that the world was sort of coming into Hope Valley through industrialization and how are they going to cope with it.”

His goal was to build a factory but Bill Avery (Jack Wagner) was doubtful. Wyman is returning in season 9 and could kick off the industrialization storyline.

As for what else to expect, there are the relationships in Hope Valley. Elizabeth Thornton (Erin Krakow) chose Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally).
