When Calls The Heart Showrunner Teases Returns For Season 13 – Paul Greene Back?

As Hearties everywhere await more information about the new season, When Calls the Heart (WCTH) recently revealed that it has a new showrunner.

In addition, there’s buzz online about cast members who could be leaving or returning to the hit Hallmark Channel series, come Season 13. So, could Paul Greene be someone who makes a comeback? We have all the details on this below!

Is Carson Shepherd Returning To Hope Valley?

WCTH’s new showrunner, Joy Gregory, recently made a stop on ‘The Official Hearties Aftershow’. She talked about what fans could expect from Season 13 and hinted that old and new “friends” could stop by Hope Valley. She also made it clear about telling the stories of those who left the little town.

Of course, this tidbit stirred up Hearties everywhere, as they wondered if Carson Shepherd, played by Paul Greene, was a character she was referring to.

This sparked some comments on social media. It’s important to note that neither Hallmark nor Green has confirmed an appearance on the heartwarming hit series; however, he is returning to Hallmark for a new flick called Love in the Clouds.

Greene Talks Missing WCTH

Greene talked about how much he missed WCTH on his blog in December of last year. He noted, “I miss the horses and my When Calls the Heart family dearly.” He also included some behind-the-scenes videos and photos from his time on the show.

He talked about how much he loved riding horses and working with them. In the blog, he stated, “I got the chance to ride often and work with them (horses). This episode was really special with the kids caroling, snow-covered trees, and wagon rides.”

While it’s uncertain if Greene will return to WCTH Season 13, fans can catch him in Love In The Clouds on the Hallmark Channel come Saturday, May 10 at 8 p.m. ET. It’ll stream the following day on Hallmark+. It’s important to remember that as of May, Hallmark ended its streaming contract with Peacock.
