So, she might have some pull if she wants a former cast member back. She has not been shy about repeatedly saying that she hopes Lori can return to the set. Not only does she want her friend and co-star back, but Erin says there are a lot of story possibilities for Abigail.

“It would make me so happy to see Abigail back in Hope Valley,” Erin told ET Canada. “And I think there are still a lot of really beautiful stories for her character to get to tell. I would welcome her back with open arms. So let’s hope.”

In addition to all of this, creator Brian Byrd told The Front Desk that the show is about forgiveness and grace. So, even though the Hallmark Channel did cut ties with Lori, if enough people push for Lori’s return — and if wants to come back — it is definitely possible. We are thinking that if the show gets renewed for season 9, the perfect season premiere opening would be seeing Abigail back in Hope Valley.
