Season 11 of When Calls The Heart (WCTH) is in full swing, yet a major mystery still lingers: who shot Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally)? As Hearties continue to speculate on who targeted the newly elected governor, actress Pascale Hutton (Rosemary Coulter) recently warned that it may not be who fans suspect.

As Season 11 rolls on, Rosemary, along with her husband Leland Coulter (Kavan Smith), and Bill Avery (Jack Wagner) aren’t sure about who’s been accused of shooting Lucas. As such, Bill and Rosemary are investigating this crime, on their own.

Hutton spoke with TV Insider recently, stating that Rosemary’s first challenge was to get Bill on board with this partnership. Pascale adds that she loves “the comedy of his reticence to take her on and her perseverance and determination to make this happen.”

Currently, the main suspect is Bernhardt Montague (Benjamin Wilkinson), but is he the mastermind in this all? Hutton notes that while the team is not ruling him out, they are also not zeroing in on him as the “one and only” suspect.

“When Calls The Heart” Spoilers – Pascale Hutton Offers Major Spoiler

Hutton goes on to tell TV Insider that the duo is going to widen the potential suspects list and new suspects will surface. Pascale also warns that Rosemary could end up in trouble, due to this investigation.

She adds that by the end of Season 11, her character won’t be in a good situation, which “really catches her off guard”, especially the “circumstances that she ends up in.”
