When Calls The Heart spoilers, news, and updates tease that fans are wondering if Lori Loughlin will return to the show for its upcoming tenth season. Will viewers be seeing her again once the show airs in mid-2023?

Fans may recall that Lori Loughlin, who played the role of Abigail, left When Calls The Heart after the college admissions scandal broke out. She was written out from the remaining episodes of the sixth season. Her character was the mayor of Hope Valley, and when the actress was fired from the show, her character had to make an abrupt exit as she rushed home to take care of her sick mother.

Aside from fans, some of the show’s cast members miss the actress, and one of them is Elizabeth Krakow and Jack Wagner.

“Abigail is much more than a friend. She’s family, and I will miss her and Cody deeply. We all will,” the actress said.

“It really was a real group effort of feeling like we had to feel our feelings and then we had to move past that and that’s what we’ve done,” Wagner shared.

When Calls The Heart Season 10 – What Is The Status Of Loughlin’s Relationship With Hallmark?

Since her release from prison, Loughlin has appeared on the spinoff of When Calls The Heart. The actress reprised her role as Abigail in When Calls Hope’s two-part festive special, which was aired on GAC.

It seems like the actress’ relationship with Hallmark Channel is still strained.

“Hallmark Channel has not cast Lori Loughlin in any current projects, including ‘When Calls the Heart,’ nor do we have any plans to cast her in the future,” the network said.

“She was cast by GAC Family, a wholly separate cable network not affiliated with Hallmark Channel or Crown Media Family Networks,” Hallmark Network clarified.

There’s no official announcement about Loughlin’s return to When Calls The Heart. For now, fans can only hope for her return to Hope Valley.

When Calls The Heart Season 10 is currently filming in Canada and is due to drop in mid-2023. Most of the main cast members are returning, including Elizabeth Krakow. The new season will most likely feature Lucas and Elizabeth’s romance and their wedding preparations. It will also focus on Bill Avery’s (Jack Wagner) health issues and Rosemary Leveaux’s (Pascale Hutton) and Lee Coulter’s (Kavan Smith) preparations as they await the birth of their first child.
