B&B Spoilers And Recap Thursday, April 21: Steffy Represses Finn And Hayes, Brooke And Taylor Spar

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers and recap show Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) keeping watch as her husband comforts a befuddled Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).

The Bold and The Beautiful Spoilers – Steffy forgets her son

Steffy won’t let Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) leave her side in the hospital. She looks forward to going home with “her husband.” Liam is heartened that Steffy asks about Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras McKinlay) and gives in to her demands to bring their daughter to the hospital.

Liam tells Hope that Steffy is repressing Finn’s memory and everything that goes along with it, including Hayes Finnegan (Piper Harriot). He hopes that seeing Kelly will help Steffy connect the dots. Hope says they all want what’s best for Steffy. Liam kisses her with gratitude for her support, but, when he leaves, she anxiously watches Steffy sleep.

B&B spoilers – Ridge sides with Taylor

Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) are at odds about what to do with Steffy. Brooke observes that Steffy going back in time and believing Liam is her husband isn’t just a memory problem. Taylor thinks it’s a coping mechanism. Selective memory loss is a survival reaction. It’s too painful for a fragile Steffy to deal with Finn Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) death.

Brooke takes issue with allowing Steffy to continue believing she, not Hope, is married to Liam. Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) lurks, shooting daggers at Brooke. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) concurs with Taylor that they must keep the truth from Steffy to help her cope.

The Bold and The Beautiful Spoilers – Brooke and Taylor go toe-to-toe

Brooke worries that they’re making a mistake by allowing Steffy to live in a delusional world. Baby Hayes needs his mother after his father died. She’s concerned by Steffy’s fixation on Liam.

Taylor snaps that they’re doing everything possible to help Steffy. Ridge asks Brooke be patient to give Steffy a chance to find what she’s lost. Taylor believes that, on some level, Steffy knows Finn died and may have seen it happen. Ridge believes Steffy clinging to Liam is about her love for Finn. The safe place in her mind is Liam. Sheila chimes in that Steffy loved Finn deeply.

B&B spoilers – Hope has something to tell Steffy

Steffy isn’t thrilled by a visit from Hope. She’s surprised that Hope was worried about her since they don’t always get along.

Steffy wants to go home with Kelly and Liam, her family. Hope tells Steffy she can be strong and still scared. Hope believes she can face it. Hope asks what Steffy does remember.

Steffy remembers her home and her family with Kelly and Liam. Hope has something important to tell Steffy: her family is so much bigger than Liam and Kelly. She’ll never be alone, so she doesn’t need to worry. Hope pledges to help Steffy through it. When the memories return, Steffy can move on.

The Bold and The Beautiful Spoilers – Taylor believes Liam is Steffy’s true love

Taylor can’t answer Sheila’s question about whether Steffy will regain her memory. Since her scans are clear, the amnesia appears to be psychological.

Taylor is incensed when Brooke asks how living in a fantasy is helping Steffy. Taylor says Liam and Steffy have a deep, abiding love for each other. Taylor wonders if it’s a sign that Steffy is repressing her true love for Liam.

B&B spoilers – Taylor puts her foot down

Brooke comes on strong with Taylor, questioning her decision to keep Steffy in the dark. She wonders what they’ll do if someone comes to visit. What if they mention Finn?

Taylor puts her foot down with Brooke. She won’t allow her to tell Steffy about Finn—it’s too soon and too dangerous. Brooke asks Taylor not to make it an issue for them.

Brooke accuses Taylor of using the situation to drive a wedge between Hope and Liam

The Bold and The Beautiful Spoilers – Hope is on the outside again

Liam and Kelly interrupt Hope and Steffy’s heart-to-heart. Steffy is stunned at how big Kelly has gotten.

Kelly wonders why Steffy is crying. Steffy says they’re happy tears at seeing her daughter. Steffy asks Hope to leave so she can spend time alone with her daughter and husband. Steffy tells Liam and Kelly she loves them. Liam takes Steffy’s hand and says he loves her too. Hope watches from the outside.
