It is unclear if the TV movie will only be available on Lifetime or if it will be available to stream on streaming platforms like Amazon Prime Video or Netflix. Additional information will be available once we inch closer to the movie’s premiere date.

While Lifetime is known for its movies with gripping tales, another movie that just landed on the network is part of a long-running franchise, Seven Deadly Sins. Its latest installment, Pride, starring Stephanie Mills, premiered on April 8, 2023, and is the fifth in the anthology, preceded by Lust, Greed, Wrath, and Envy.

While at first glance, it would seem like the movie’s intention is to teach the viewers a moral about the way capital vices tend to destroy lives. Yet, if the precious TV movie adaptations are an example, the viewers are so engulfed by the storytelling that they almost forget what the movie wishes to convey. Instead, it feels like a movie about a family that is caught up in their own fame and egos.

At the age of 66, the show’s lead actress Stephanie Mills looks just as refreshed and vibrant as she did at the start of her career. So, fans would surely enjoy this Lifetime TV movie.

So, have you watched Pride yet? And are you excited for the Road Trip Hostage movie’s premiere on Lifetime? Share your thoughts in the comments!
