UPtv Debuts June Grooms With Rom-Com The Wedding Wish [TRAILER]

June 2023 is already here and this means UPtv is launching its June Grooms programming event with The Wedding Wish. In fact, the whole month will be dedicated to one glorious wedding after another. Meanwhile, the romantic comedy tells the story of a woman who has planned her wedding out, down to almost the finest detail – all that is missing is a groom. UPtv’s June Grooms features The Wedding Wish

UPtv is about to launch its June Grooms programming event with the romantic comedy, The Wedding Wish. According to the synopsis, the rom-com tells the story of Jenny (Kabby Borders), a talented illustrator who loves living in a dream world. However, her real-life still needs to catch up with her dreams. In fact, she has planned the perfect wedding for her birthday and the only thing missing is the groom.

Meanwhile, things change for Jenny when she gets a fortune predicting she will get married in four months. Moreover, her dream castle venue is available for her date In fact, this is unusual, as the venue is almost always fully booked and is only available for that one day – her birthday – in four months time.

Preparations for the wedding almost complete

Jenny organizes all the small details, including a wedding cake, food, flowers and even the perfect wedding dress. Now, she is ready for her dream day, but where is her groom? She speaks to her best friend, Aiden (Adam D. Crain), who tells her she has to “FIF” which translates to “find a fiancé.” Meanwhile, due to her fortune, she knows the perfect man is out there and she just has to find him.

For now, Jenny needs to focus on her work and is about to meet a successful children’s book author who needs an illustrator. However, as she waits at the publisher, she meets the arrogant author himself, Tyler (Alex Trumble). In fact, not knowing that she is the artist, he says some unflattering things about Jenny’s work. Meanwhile, he gets shocked when the publisher formally introduces them.

Despite the embarrassing beginnings, as Jenny and Tyler work together things improve and after spending time together, they become close. Meanwhile, after Tyler invites her to a mindfulness class, she meets the guy she knows will be her perfect husband. However, did she just overlook her real Prince Charming?

About the cast of the June Grooms movie

Kabby Borders plays Jenny and is known for her roles in The Perfect Wedding Match and The Tutor. Alex Trumble plays Tyler and has previously been seen in Lucky Hearts and Days of Our Lives. Meanwhile, Jenny’s best friend Aiden is played by Adam D. Crain of Dead Silent and Graceland fame.

According to the official IMDb page, other cast members include Reed Favero (Wrecked, Chateau Vato, Romantic Rewrite) as Blake, Andrea Conte (Drop Dead Diva, Bloodline, Devious Maids) as Clara, and Miranda Roldán (The Blacklist, FBI, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit) as Carmen. Meanwhile, Hannah Brantley (Love’s Playlist, Friendship Never Dies, Tambers Land) plays Laura and Rodrigo Aragón (Mega Heist, Death Knows Your Name) is in the role of Nico.
