Neighbours Spoilers: Con-Woman Scarlett Shows Her True Colors By Blackmailing Paul

Neighbours resident con-woman will reveal her true colors by blackmailing Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis).

The newest baddie Scarlett Brady (Christie Whelan Browne) is ready to take down another victim, as she begins to blackmail neighbour Paul Robinson.

It’s not often that high flying business man Paul meets his match, but Scarlett proves just to be as ruthless as him as she fights to keep her job at Lassiters next week.

The storyline begins next week when Paul begins to be suspicious of Scarlett, feeling like she isn’t being honest about herself. He does a little digging and finds out that she hasn’t even worked in a hotel before and therefore didn’t provide any accurate job references when she was hired.

After cameras were found in the hotel, Paul is tightening up on security – including screening all of his staff – so he fires Scarlett immediately.

However, Scarlett refuses to be put out of her job so easily, especially when it helps her to be close to Ned Willis every day, who she is obsessed with. She therefore decides to blackmail Paul, telling him that she knows all about the cameras that were found at the hotel and will go to the press with everything unless he lets her keep her job.

Paul doesn’t want anything to do with Scarlett, so offers her a cash sum to keep quiet about the cameras under one condition – she leaves Erinsborough immediately. This isn’t an option for Scarlett, who must stay in town as long as Ned does, so she refuses the offer and insists that she wants to keep her job.

Paul has no choice but to give into her demands, but knows that he needs to keep an eye on Scarlett. What he doesn’t know is that she actually possesses the explicit footage of Kyle and Amy that was taken on the hidden camera in the hotel room.
