Neighbours Spoilers: Return Date Confirmed For Gemma Pranita As Jade Mitchell

Ever since fans thought that they spotted Gemma Pranita on set in late December, social media has been alight with storyline speculations and excitement. Of course, with rumours rife at the time about Eve Morey’s exit and death storyline, viewers believed that Jade would be returning for her sister’s death.

Official Neighbours spoilers have confirmed that fans are correct, and Jade will be returning to Ramsay Street on Friday the 1st March. She currently lives in San Francisco but upon hearing news of her sister’s cancer, she will fly back to her native country of Australia.

Neighbours – Jade Will Reconnect With Her Family

Everyone is happy that Jade will return to the street and reconnect with her family, especially at such a crucial time in their lives. Sonya is grateful for her sister’s presence and support, although she is distracted by the latest Fake Dee drama, which has led her to believe that Dee is alive after all.

Jade was a regular Neighbours’ character between 2010 and 2012, until Pranita moved on to pursue other acting opportunities and a career in photography, her main passion.

Jade’s early storylines focused on rebuilding her relationship with her older sister, who she had not been in contact with for seven years. She also embarked on several relationships during her time on Ramsay Street, including Mark Brennan and Lucas Fitzgerald – both of whom she is likely to have scenes with upon her return.

Neighbours – More Characters Will Return To Ramsay Street

Of course, Jade isn’t the only character who will come back as part of Sonya’s stage four cancer storyline. Her son Callum has also returned from America to be with her, after Dipi made him aware of his mother’s diagnosis. Sonya’s good friends Lucas Fitzgerald and his wife Vanessa have also confirmed they will be back for guest stints, presumably for Sonya’s funeral.
