Neighbours spoilers reveal romantic interest for Elly Conway. It’s already happened once before, but Elly Conway is about to give into temptation again and kiss Shaun Watkins – but is it just pregnancy hormones?

Following Shaun and Elly’s recent returns to Erinsbourgh, the pair seem to be getting on very well. The first met earlier in the year when they had a one night stand, but after a lot of drama and a shock pregnancy they’re both excited for their future as parents.

Happy that they are now able to provide support for each other, not just for the sake of the baby but themselves too, Elly asks Shaun if he will help her with the clean-up following the Erinsborough High school dance.

As the two are having a good time together, despite the tedious job, there is obvious sexual tension between them when Shaun softly removes a stray bit of decoration from Elly’s hair. While they enjoy the moment, Shaun can’t help but notice Mark Brennan watching on from the side, which Elly soon notices too.

Elly quickly feels guilty about what Mark saw and expresses concern to Aaron and David, terrified that she hurt his feelings when he’s already in a very bad place. While talking to the couple Elly also admits what she’s confused about her feelings for Shaun. She has started to gain feelings for him, but doesn’t want to repeat any past mistakes and end up ruining another relationship.

David and Aaron do their best to reassure her by telling her that Mark hasn’t mentioned anything to them about her and Shaun, especially not being upset that they’re getting close. For that reason, Elly should do what makes her happy. Their words give Elly food for thought, and when Elly realises how committed Shaun is to their baby she is overwhelmed with emotion and kisses him.
