Why Are Fans Outraged Over Netflix’s Love Is Blind Season 6 Reunion

For sometime now, Netflix has been teasing and posting that the reunion for the season finale of the love show “Love Is Blind” season 6 will be aired on Wednesday March 13. Of course, due to the whole drama that season 6 came with, tell me about the pre-wedding breakup, the rejection at the altar, etc., fans have been on their toes in anticipation of the reunion.

Netflix kept sharing on their X page that the reunion will be released very early in the morning of March 13, and this made some fans stay awake all night long trying to be one of the first to watch it once it drops. Some even woke up in between their sleep to check if it’s been released yet. While others kept refreshing their sites from time to time.

Anyway, to cut the long story short, they were all met with disappointment when hours later there was no reunion clip anywhere. Instead, it showed that it would be dropping at 9 p.m. ET. This is typical of Netflix because it’s the second time the streaming service has messed up the reunion release time.

The first time was during the season 4 reunion when they promised fans that the reunion will be aired live. When the appointment time came, there was nothing to watch. Hours later when it was finally aired, it turned out to be pre-recorded.

Love Is Blind — How Fans Reacted To The Delay

Fans of the show took to X platform formerly known as Twitter to vent their disappointments whilst tagging Netflix to their rant posts. A user ranted, “HELLOOOOOOO where is the new #LoveIsBlind reunion episode, it’s 5hrs late? Why is @netflix fcking up AGAIN, this isn’t even a live airing!!!!!” Another questioned, “Excuse me..it’s March 13th WHERE IS THE REUNION?!!!! #LoveIsBlindS6 @LoveisBlindShow #LoveIsBlind.”

Someone commented on one of the rant posts, “Woke up thinking the reunion was this morning and totally forgot it’s at 6pm tonight [man facepalming emoji],” and another angrily wrote, “Why did I stay up last night for this Love is Blind season finale only for it to never appear? [weary face emoji].”

Some commented on the previous season that Netflix delayed. Someone wrote, “They gone pull this same shit as last season when we were waiting for the reunion #LoveIsBlind,” another added, “Not Netflix continuously fumbling the airing of the reunion for Love Is Blind.” A third added, “Not Netflix screwing up the reunion release a second year in a row and not even an apology for the mix-up…are y’all not embarrassed???”

One fan expressed, “i cant believe it’s mid-afternoon on f—ing wednesday and i still have to wait hourssss for the Love Is Blind reunion. i hate this ‘wait for primetime, appointment television’ bulls—.” And another cried, “you’re telling me I need to wait until 9 pm for the love is blind reunion?!”
