Barron Trump Behind Mysterious Crypto Token Claims Convict Martin “Pharma Bro” Shkreli

Barron Trump has been named by Martin Shkreli, the convicted securities frauds known as “Pharma Bro” as his accomplice “behind the launch of the mysterious DJT crypto token, following a rally in the price of the meme coin on rumors of its purported link to Donald Trump.”

According to Market Watch, Shkreli was released from prison in 2022 and “banned from the drug industry for life and ordered to return $64 million in profits.” He was sentenced to seven years in prison in 2018 on two counts of securities fraud and one count of conspiracy to commit securities fraud in relation to the hedge fund MSMB Capital Management and the pharmaceutical company Retrophin.

The outlet claims that Shkreli told crypto investigator ZachXBT that he and Barron Trump, Donald Trump and Melania Trump’s only child, were responsible for the coin “following a hunt for those behind it, according to apparent screenshots of private messages posted on the social-media platform X.”

Market Watch reports that Shkreli allegedly sent a “message to ZachXBT after blockchain company Arkham Intelligence offered $150,000 to anyone who could prove who created the DJT token.”

Shkreli is alleged to have written: “I have over 1000 pieces of evidence I created it with Barron.”

Shkreli repeated these words in a live event on X, saying Barron was one of dozens of people behind the launch of the CDJT token “according to reports by those who listened to the Spaces event.”

Barron Trump’s – Alleged Crypto Token Involvement

DJT is a Solana-based token, and on Monday surged by 180% following “a report from Pirate Wires that Barron Trump had spearheaded the creation of the meme coin, which had lingered in relatively obscurity after launching in April.”

Shkreli was a hedge-fund manager at MSMB Capital Management and gained the moniker “Pharma Bro” after launching Turing Pharmaceuticals in 2015, “a company that purchased the rights to out-of-patent drugs before increasing the prices of those medicines” a practice for which he was denounced by the public and reviled in the press.
