Donald Trump and Prince William had a nice chat in Paris last weekend after they attended the grand reopening of Notre Dame Cathedral. William, Prince of Wales was one of the many foreign dignitaries and VIPs in attendance, as was President-elect Donald Trump.

They have met before, but the event was a good time for the two leaders to get caught up to date about professional and personal matters. Afterward, Trump seemed to give an update on King Charles’ cancer battle. Here’s what you need to know about the meeting of two of the most powerful men in the world.

After the cathedral event was over, Prince William and former and future POTUS Donald Trump took some photos together. And that had people talking.

The visual of Trump and William standing next to each other is historic but it’s also eye-opening in terms of height. Has The Donald been telling a fib about how tall he is?

It’s been reported that Trump’s youngest son, 18-year-old Barron, is 6’7”. Clearly, he towers over his famous dad whenever they are spotted together in public. Trump has commented on Barron’s height, and he claims that he himself is 6’3”.

However, the pic of William and Trump together seems to rubbish that claim. That’s because William is also 6’3″ yet Donald is shorter than the future king in a photo taken this weekend.

X users had a field day with the height discrepancy with one posting a tongue in cheek comment: “Trump says he is 6’3. Prince William is ‘also’ 6’3. What a liar the Prince of Wales is.”

Not everyone was convinced however, with one user noting that “Perspective of where they are standing distorts this quite a bit.” Someone else tragically pointed out that because Trump is 78, he is shrinking.
