The latest reports say that the election interference case against Trump is officially “over,” and even CNN is admitting it.

Apparently, CNN senior legal analyst Elie Honig told Jim Acosta, “This case was already in deep trouble because of the conduct of the district attorney, Fani Willis. And now, it’s all but over.”

The Georgia Court of Appeals ruled that Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is disqualified from the case due to her previously undisclosed relationship with special prosecutor Nathan Wade.

The court stated that the lower court’s decision to allow Willis to remain on the case was an “erred” judgment.

Honig further explained, “Now, as a result of this case, it’s not quite dismissed, but Fani Willis and her office will be disqualified from handling it, and, as a practical matter, it now goes into a sort of purgatory for an undefined amount of time. It’s not coming back, it’s over.”

Of course, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.

Some even commented with, “Every case is over. Even the NYC case will be dropped and he will NEVER see a day in jail. Willis disqualified is the definitive victory for Trump over a case that should never have existed.”

Another critic wrote, “Another witch hunt bites the dust. Justice prevails, and the truth stands tall despite their schemes.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Is anything actually going to happen to Fanny Willis besides being removed from the case?

She flouted court orders, and she broke many laws as far as I can tell. She directly ignored the orders of a judge in this case… and nothing. Nada. Who saw that coming?”
