Donald Trump Reveals Who Barron Trump Ran To Upon Learning Of His Assassination Attempt

Former POTUS Donald Trump survived an assassination attempt in July and he now is speaking out about his youngest son Barron’s reaction to the near-death experience.

Donald, who is running for reelection this year, told Fox News’ Mark Levin that his only child with Melania Trump was “having a tennis lesson” when he learned his father had been shot during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. According to Donald, someone “ran up” to the 18-year old and yelled “Your father’s been shot!”

Barron Trump’s – Reaction To His Father’s Shooting

Barron then ran to his mother who saw the event unfold in real time on television. Melania saw what the rest of the nation did, that a bullet grazed her husband’s right ear and then chaos ensued.

Trump was shot on Saturday, July 13 after turning his head, with the bullet piercing the skin of his right ear. Experts say that the outcome could have been fatal if Donald had not turned his head a split second earlier. The former POTUS called his death-defying incident a miracle.

Trump told Levin of Barron: “he loves his father, he’s a good kid, good student, good athlete actually – and he ran, ‘Mom! What’s going on? What’s going on?’”

Melania was understandably shocked at what happened: “She couldn’t believe it. She was actually watching it live, can you imagine? And then I get up, and I let people know I was okay,’ he said, noting how he stood up, raised his fist in the air and shouted to the crowd: ‘Fight! Fight! Fight!’”

Melania Trump – In Shock

According to Trump, Melania still “can’t even talk about it, which is okay because that means she likes me.”

Trump was shot by 20-year-old Pennsylvania native Thomas Matthew Crooks, who was then shot and killed by authorities on scene. After interviewing hundreds of individuals, the FBI do not yet have a motive for the shooting.

The agency has said that Crooks did “extensive attack planning” with both Trump and Joe Biden as potential targets.

FBI agent Kevin Rojek said last week that Crooks was “hyper-focused” on the July 13 event in his home state, searching online with queries including “Where will Trump speak from at Butler Farm Show? Butler Farm Show podium and Butler Farm Show photos.”
