Another day and another reason for her critics to get upset about her. There’s a new report that says Melania Trump is supposedly getting slammed for her hypocrisy.

She was recently hosted by the Log Cabin Republicans, which is a group that supports the LGBT community. But some people believe that you just can’t be a Republican and support gay rights at the same time. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

Is Melania Trump a hypocrite? That’s what many critics are asking themselves right now. They don’t understand why she invited the Log Cabin Republicans to Mar-A-Lago when her party doesn’t believe in giving the gay community the same rights as everyone else.

It goes without saying that many Trump fans and critics alike sure did have a lot to say about the matter on social media.

Some even commented with, “I am so happy that the Log Cabin Republican membership and those who aligned are on the decline, and they will soon go the way of the dinosaur!

How else can they support a party that does not believe in their right to exist?” along with, “But hey, let’s give Melania some credit – she’s probably just trying to make up for all those times she stood silently by while her husband spouted hateful rhetoric towards the LGBTQ+ community. Or maybe she’s just trying to distract us from the fact that her husband is a raging bigot. Either way, it’s a pretty pathetic attempt at damage control, if you ask me.”

Did Melania Trump Make A Huge Mistake?

Another critic wrote, “This is by far the fakest family in the world. They are moochers , gifters and will act like they like groups , ppl or their cult members. All for the love of money and power.”

And then there was this comment as well, “Log Cabin Republicans are basically a PAC that raises funds to elect Republicans. None of the equal rights activists and regular LGBTQ+ people I know would lower themselves by attending an event with people who vote against their own right to exist.”
