1000 Lb. Sisters Spoilers suggest that Tammy Slaton is paying for her rehab stay at the expense of her home. What will Tammy do once she is released from rehab?

1000 Lb. Sisters – Tammy’s Money Woes

1000 Lb. Sisters Tammy checked herself into rehab for her food addiction last fall. Shortly thereafter, Tammy was in the hospital on life support for carbon dioxide poisoning. After three weeks in the hospital, Tammy returned to the Ohio rehab facility to get help with her weight loss. However, the extended-stay could have dire consequences for Tammy.

As a general rule, if you are in a facility, jail, hospital, nursing home, etc., and receive government benefits the facility usually gets to keep your check if you are there over thirty days. Tammy was living beside of Amy in a duplex before Amy moved to her new home. According to what Amy told “The Sun”, Tammy’s social security is paying for her rehab stay, not TLC. Amy says that Tammy has nowhere to go when she comes home. Amy plans to bring Tammy home with her for a bit until they can find Tammy a place of her own.

1000 Lb. Sisters Amy says that TLC paid for rehab before and that they get a salary for the show. Of course, this leaves the question of why TLC would not cover Tammy’s rent instead. Amy does say that Tammy is getting the help she needs and even if she stays a year or two that is ok. Although Tammy is losing weight, her previous place looked very cramped and the doorways looked too small for her. Perhaps Tammy wanted a new place anyway. Could Tammy be planning to move closer to Amy?

1000 Lb. Sisters Amy is very upset over Tammy’s past boyfriend and doesn’t want her to get mixed up with any more of these feeders. Amy says all of Tammy’s boyfriends have been bad for her and she needs to find a new type of guy. Amy says that Tammy gets lost in a relationship and goes along with whatever the other party wants whether is it good for her or not. Amy wants to see Tammy put herself first and not fall into the same old traps again. Amy also wants Tammy to have her weight loss surgery so she does not fall back into old habits.
