1000 Lb. Sisters Tammy Slaton returned to rehab at the end of season three. Tammy had gotten completely out of hand with drinking and vaping. Tammy had also been in a very bad relationship before this. Tammy had a boyfriend that was stalking and threatening her before she let her wild side take over. Dr. Smith came to visit Tammy after the family’s Tennessee vacation and she agreed to go back to rehab. Unfortunately, by the time Tammy got back to the facility, she was in very poor health. Tammy ended up in the hospital right after she returned to rehab because she had carbon dioxide poisoning. Tammy spent three weeks in the hospital before returning to the rehab facility. With Tammy in rehab, she stated on March 10, 2022, that they had not started taping and it would be quiet a while before the new season airs.
