Thieves “kicked in the back door” of Slaton’s unoccupied home, Deputy Starkey told the Sun. The robbers managed to steal Tammy’s furniture after breaking into her house in Kentucky. And the Union County deputy noted that the robbery took place only “after the Slaton sisters moved out.” As a result, the thieves may have watched the home and confirmed that no one lived there.

Tammy began her stay in rehab in autumn last year. And Amy also vacated the 1000-Lb Sisters stars’ home to move into a new residence with her husband. As a result, Starkey speculated on a likely scenario. “The burglar[s] must have seen the home was unoccupied and broke in,” said the deputy. And beyond the damage to the door, the robbers stole Tammy’s furniture, washing machine, and dryer.

Tammy Slaton understandably feels terrified about what happened to her home. Adding to the 1000-Lb Sisters star’s fears, the thieves also robbed the next-door neighbor. And in a weird turn of events, the robbers even stole the neighbor’s sink!

However, Deputy Starkey revealed that he has not succeeded in finding the culprit. As a result, the investigation continues. And an insider added some revealing details about both Tammy and her sister Amy Slaton Halterman.

“Amy found the break-in when she went to check up on her old home [while Tammy was in rehab],” explained the insider. As a result of the discovery, Amy took photos and sent them to her sister. “Amy sent photos to Tammy. Valuables were stolen and there were signs of forced entry,” noted the source. 

Tammy feels so scared that she wants to make a drastic change, according to the insider. And that change involves selling the house. But the 1000-Lb Sisters star suspects that the robbery doesn’t seem random. Both Tammy and Amy think that the thieves include a 1000-Lb Sisters fan who went too far, according to the insider.
