Ashley Madison Docu-Series Releases More Details On Josh Duggar Scandal

Duggar Family News reveals that now that Hulu has released a docu-series about the infamous affair website, Ashley Madison, there are more questions coming up about Josh Duggar and the affair that he had.

Josh met a woman on the website and it all came out that they had an affair. His information leaked back in 2015 and this all came out publicly. Now the docu-series is revealing even more about Josh and other celebrities who were busted on the website.

Scandals and Ashely Madison

In 2015, the Ashley Madison website was founded as a way for married people to have an affair in a very private manner. Those who had memberships to the site were able to connect with others, single and married, who wanted to explore a sexual relationship.

One of the names on this list was Josh Duggar. Not only did it come out that he sexually molested some young girls when he was a teenager, including a few of his sisters. This shocked the family and his fans. This was also the first time that TLC canceled the Duggar’s television show.

Josh had a few subscriptions on the Ashley Madison website and he admitted that he was unfaithful to Anna Duggar with women who were on the website.

He paid over $1,000 in fees to have these subscriptions and on one of these accounts, he paid an extra $250 to guarantee that he would be able to sleep with a woman from the site. With everything that he admitted about being on the website, Anna still stood by him no matter what.

Josh’s Statement

When it all came out that Josh had cheated on Anna, he told his fans, “I have been the biggest hypocrite ever. While espousing faith and family values, I have secretly over the last several years been viewing pornography on the internet and this became a secret addiction and I became unfaithful to my wife.”

According to his religion, the Institute in Basic Life Principles, Anna is the one to blame for him having an affair. The religion feels that if a wife cannot satisfy her husband, it is all her fault if he cheats.

Fans of the Duggars have been shocked to learn about Josh’s addiction to pornography. Apparently, it got so bad that children were involved as well.

He was arrested in 2021 on possession of child pornography and he is currently serving 12 years in prison. We will continue to keep an eye on Anna to see what is next for her and how she is doing without her husband.
