Below Deck Crew Accuses Gary King Of ‘Next-Level Scary’ Sexual Misconduct

Below Deck Sailing Yacht first mate Gary King has become known as a ladies’ man. But while the show turned the spotlight on Gary’s fondness for flirting, a production employee claims King went too far.

As a result, Bravo faces accusations of allowing sexual misconduct to take place during filming.

Below Deck Spoilers – Gary King Accused Of Sexual Misconduct

Bravo recently featured Below Deck Sailing Yacht star Gary King indulging in his usual flirtations with nearly every female crew member.

But former Below Deck production team member Samantha Suarez now claims that King crossed the line during filming.

And she alleges that Gary wouldn’t let her exit a hotel room, according to People.

Recalling her work behind the scenes in 2022, Samantha shared that King, 34, behaved inappropriately on a day when the crew focused on filming confessional interviews.

However, Suarez then received a request to escort King back to his hotel room. And she noted that Gary had consumed alcohol prior to their encounter. 

“There is no limit to alcohol consumption whatsoever, which I think poses a really big problem,” Suarez revealed.

But she then shared that King began to scream from his balcony to co-stars, urging them to break the rules by leaving their rooms.

And Gary then wanted Samantha to get in bed with her. He wore only underwear.

And as Suarez tried to leave the hotel room, King allegedly pushed her against him and wouldn’t let go.

She recalled him even slamming the door shut. And she shared, “At that point, I didn’t know what was going to happen. I was freaking out. It just happened so fast.”

Suarez recalled how King “tried to come up behind me and put his arm around me. He’s in the hallway in his underwear and it’s all weird and f— up,” she added. “And so I’m just like, ‘Just go back in your room and don’t come out.’”

But Suarez then informed producers what happened. And they reportedly told King to move to the boat.

However, for Samantha, the situation triggered “a super depressive state.”

Bravo – Reacts To Allegations

But Bravo responded by claiming, “Bravo is committed to maintaining a safe and respectful workplace for cast and crew on our reality shows. We require our third-party production companies to have appropriate workplace policies and trainings in place and a clear process on how to report concerns. The concerns Ms. Suarez raised in July 2022 were investigated at that time and action was taken based on the findings.”

However, three other crew members also alleged that King crossed the line. For instance, one alleged that Gary touched a female crew member inappropriately.

And he also allegedly grabbed another production crew member and a male camera operator.

As a result, an observer called King’s behavior “insane. There were multiple incidents of sexual harassment in front of multiple producers after this person had been given verbal warnings multiple times.” And another crew member described Gary as “next-level scary with women.”
