Below Deck Sailing Yacht star Gary King appeared among the celebrity guest list in the initial publicity for Bravo TV’s fan convention known as BravoCon 2023. But then came his sexual misconduct scandal. As a result, King faced dismissal from the fan convention lineup, according to Us magazine.

And as fans prepare to head to Las Vegas for the annual event, the Below Deck Sailing Yacht star doesn’t appear on the website anymore. However, the official schedule also does not feature Gary. But an insider claimed that King’s status remains “undetermined.”

And the alleged changes to the BravoCon schedule come after former production assistant Samantha Suarez made allegation about King. She claimed that Gary behaved inappropriately amid filming season four of Below Deck Sailing Yacht. Both she and other former employees alleged that Bravo hid Gary’s sexual misconduct.

But one accuser called the situation “insane.” And the individual recalled “multiple incidents of sexual harassment in front of multiple producers.” Those incidents came after King had received “verbal warnings multiple times,” added the accuser. 

However, Suarez detailed what happened when Gary allegedly got drunk after the end of filming. And she told him, “I need to go bring other people water and food’.” However, Suarez recalled that King pleaded with her. But then she set a case of waters down in his room. “And again, he’s repeating, ‘Don’t leave’.” But she told him that she would not stay. 

However, then King allegedly pushed himself against her. And he reportedly refused to let her go until she began to fight back. Suarez recalled “freaking out.”And she pleaded with Gary to leave her alone. “He tried to come up behind me and put his arm around me,” she alleged. “He’s in the hallway in his underwear,” she recalled. “And it’s all weird and f—ked up.” But Suarez then urged the Below Deck star, “Just go back in your room and don’t come out.”

However, Suarez shared that she told producers what had happened. And Bravo responded to the media attention to the incident. The network claimed, “Bravo is committed to maintaining a safe and respectful workplace for cast and crew on our reality shows.”

And a spokesperson for Below Deck’s production company, 51 Minds Entertainment, also issued a statement. “51 Minds is committed to providing an environment in which every member of the casts and crews on our productions feel respected,” stated the production company. And 51 Minds also listed the cast and crew feeling “safe” as the key priority. 

51 Minds shared that “mandatory harassment and sensitivity training” take place at the start of “each new season.” And the production company stated that it establishes “a clear process on how and to whom to report any questionable activity.”
