Below Deck – Gary King On the Love Triangle That’s Rocking The Boat This Season

Gary King recently opened up about the love triangle that is set to be one of the main focuses of this upcoming season.

The recently released trailer showed drama arising in the series as a result of Gary’s former make out buddy Daisy Kelliher hooking up with someone new, and it turns out that someone new is Gary’s pal and Chief Engineer Colin McRae.

“To be honest, I just didn’t see it coming at all and I think that’s what shocked me the most,” Gary exclusively told E! News. “Daisy and I have always had chemistry—I believe at least.”

At first, Gary said that he felt the jealous side of him rear up when he saw “her hook up with someone else.”

“I’d be lying to you if I said I wasn’t jealous,” the First Mate continued, “but at the end of the day, she’s not my girlfriend, Colon’s not my boyfriend, so I’m going to be a supportive as possible for them. It’s the least I could do as a friend.”

However, the reality star is past the stage of jealousy to the extent that he’s even considering being “supportive” of their relationship.

“No doubt they both are very good friends of mine and I’ll be supportive as much as possible,” he stated. “I think they make a super cute couple, so we’ll see what happens in the future.”

Gary went on to note that his jealousy was kind of petty, especially since he’s also having a little fling of his own.

“Madison and I had a little season fling,” he said of the growing connection between him and new Stew Mads Herrera. “Boatmances, it’s just something that happens on every yacht. It’s something we can’t hide from whether we want it or not. I think if you spend enough time with someone you’re going to get a connection with them and develop feelings.”

“Below Deck Sailing Yacht” returns to Bravo Mondays at 8 p.m. starting April 10.
