Bethenny Frankel Gets Engaged After End To Acrimonious Divorce With Jason

Bethenny Frankel is having a week to remember. On Tuesday, it was confirmed that she is now happily engaged to her boyfriend of two years, Paul Bernon.

The 50-year-old celebrity and former cast member of the reality TV show, The Real Housewives of New York City, first met her new fiance, Paul, in 2018, some months after the death of her boyfriend, Dennis Shields. Well, her relationship with Dennis was more of an on-off kind of thing.

When the couple celebrated their one year of dating in September 2019, Bethenny was full of loving words for Paul, whom she described as loving, caring and humorous in an interview with an online magazine. She also added that she had gotten to know his family and was feeling the right vibes with them.

The first anniversary of their dating was also marked by Bethenny through an Instagram post where she penned a loving tribute to express her love for Paul and thanking him for bringing so much happiness into her life. Before this special occasion, she had lavished romantic words on Paul when he marked his birthday in July 2019.

Paul returned the favor when he wrote a loving tribute to Bethenny on the occasion of her birthday two months later in November.

The couple has not been shy in expressing their love for each other in the social media space, with the real estate developer even going as far as to exchange flirtatious lines with the former reality tv star sometime in February last year on Instagram.

During the fall, it was widely reported that Bethenny had separated from Paul. In October last year, the Skinnygirl baroness appeared as a guest on the Ellen Degeneres Show, where she explained the challenges she was having in her relationship with her film producer boyfriend. She said that they were going through a period where there was so much pressure on them to get married.

However, three months after appearing on the show, she and Paul were back together as a couple, having a nice time in Miami as well as Boston, sometime in January this year.

Bethenny Frankel  News – Divorce Finally Official, But Child Custody Battle Goes On

Apart from the news of her getting engaged to Paul, Bethenny has finally ended her bitter divorce from her ex-husband, Jason Hoppy. The divorce was declared as final by a judge on the 20th of January this year.

Bethenny got married to 50-year-old Jason in 2012, but they separated two years later in December of 2012. In January 2013, Bethenny filed a petition for divorce in court. The couple has settled on all the financial implications attached to their divorce but is yet to come to an amicable agreement over child custody rights to their 10-year-old daughter, Bryn. The child custody legal tussle has been raging on for years without a compromise forthcoming.
