Deadliest Catch Cast Member Arrested In Florida

On Saturday, March 16, Erik James Brown, a cast member from the reality TV series ‘Deadliest Catch’ was reportedly arrested for alleged probation violations in the Florida Keys.

The 40-year-old who is also known as Erik James who appeared in three episodes of the Discovery Channel’s series as a crew member on the deep sea vessel “Summer Bay,” was arrested for alleged probation violation.—per Daily Caller.

Although the details behind his arrest is yet to be known, it’s worth knowing that Erik has had multiple arrests and charges under his belt. His charges range from assault, battery, DUI, being in possession of cocaine and marijuana, carjacking, etc., the list goes on and on, and the shocking thing is that they all date as far back as 2003, according to “The News Press.”

Back in 2020, “KeyNews.com” reported that Erik was arrested and charged with domestic assault, battery, tampering with evidence, and possession of marijuana.

His assault victim told the police in a statement that the TV star threw several harmful weapons at her before proceeding to shove and push her to the ground countless times to the ground thereby causing lacerations in her arm.

His victim went on to share how Erik proceeded to choke her continuously while she passed in and out of consciousness.

Afterward, Erik took out her phone battery from her phone to stop her from reaching out to 911.

Two years before that, in 2018, “The News Press” reported that Erik was arrested for allegedly running an illegal marijuana cultivation operation from the nearly $2 million Florida home.

Evidence that consists of 25 marijuana plants, marijuana buds in containers, pills, and paraphernalia used to smoke marijuana were found at the scene. It is also worth knowing that the mariner has had multiple cases of hit and run, and several other traffic offenses in his name.

The show which centers on the life of fishermen at sea, and the dangers they face, has successfully aired 19 seasons from its April 12, 2005 premiere. It has gone on to win multiple awards like Prime Time Emmy Awards, and ASTRA Awards.
