Duggar Family Associate Arrested For Alleged Child SA

A Duggar family associate has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a child.19 Kids and Counting fans were angry when Josh Duggar was arrested, and they hated that he blamed someone else for it. However, the new arrest isn’t a family member, but was once linked with one of Jim Bob’s girls. Read on for more details.

Who Was Arrested?

The news about the new arrest came from Katie Joy on her Without A Crystal Ball Instagram account. She posted up a few cards, and one of them showed the mugshot of Carver Bowers. In the picture, she’d put her text overlay that said:

JOSH DUGGAR APOLOGIST & ONE TIME CREEPER OF A MINOR DUGGAR DAUGHTER CARVER BOWERS ARRESTED FOR 2 COUNTS OF CHILD SA

Arrested by CCSO, the next screenshot claimed that Bowers was booked on Friday this week. He faces charges of allegedly engaging in the abuse of a child under the age of 12.

The Link To Josh’s Family

In her long article, Katie Joy explained that Carver Bowers is being held “in jail in Covington County, Alabama.” She also claimed that in 2022, she “called [him] out” because he was  “linked to Johannah Duggar.” At the time, Johannah was 16 years old and he was 20.

Further details about the link to the TLC family came when she explained, “He’s part of a traveling fundie band & a regular in the Duggar family circle.”

Additionally, she’s spitting mad because he allegedly stood up for Josh, claiming that his arrest was a set-up  by a “shady ex con.”

Followers React In The Discussion

The people in the comments were not at all saddened to hear the news about the arrest. Remember, they alleged that Josh Duggar was dodgy before he ended up behind bars. So, one of them wrote, “Birds of a feather. You called it”

The Girls Were Traumatized 

It’s not known if Johannah ever suffered any abuse by Bowers, but it’s well-known that some of her sisters were abused by their brother, Josh. In fact, his molestation that was brought up during his trial caused the cancellation of the Duggar family show. 

Later re-emerging as Counting On, even the second show couldn’t survive after the CSAM conviction. It seems sadly true that like seems to attract like in the family circle.
