TMZ reported that Turner delivered the tea about his new woman this week. In their exclusive, he told them that she’s slid into his DMs on Facebook. At first, he ignored her, but she persisted, and his interest perked right up when he found out she was a local resident.

Part of the problem with Theresa was their long-distance relationship. The outlet cited the ABC star as saying that they met up and he took her “to a restaurant on their first date in March … and, they’ve been basically inseparable since, meeting Gerry’s kids and his pickleball pals while also introducing him to a couple of her children.”

What Does She Do?

The lady is named Lana and she wasn’t ever on a reality TV show like The Golden Bachelor. However, Gerry Turner’s new love was “a former part-owner of a video production company.” She was also a teacher, but like Gerry, she is now retired. 

Apparently, it was “love at first sight,” but some jaded ABC fans think that already happened. Anyway, she seems very nice, and is in her mid-50s, quite a lot younger than him. Additionally, she gets on with his friends. So, maybe it will work out for them.

When he first revealed a new love, he spoke with Joe and Serena on The Bachelorette’s Happy Hour but didn’t say much more about her. However, he was reluctant to rush a public reveal out of respect for Theresa Nist. 

Is The Bone Cancer A Problem?

Gerry Turner has a type of bone cancer that is not curable. One might think that could be a problem with getting serious about another woman. However, doctors recently told him that he will go for treatment more often once he hits 75. So, he feels confident that he still has a few years of life left in him. 

Interestingly, he mentioned that the bone cancer was part of the reason why his marriage to Theresa ended. And that’s notable, as the news only arrived months after they split.
